The Conference
Completely Built Around the People Attending It
The Conference is a half-day women's conference built to be energetic, useful, and genuinely worth your time. We’re bringing together great speakers, meaningful conversations, and a room full of people worth knowing, without filling the day with things that don’t add to the experience. And this time, the people buying the tickets get a say in what happens there.

Your Ticket Comes With Your Opinion
We don’t want to guess what our attendees want to hear about. We’d rather ask them directly. Our conference will give ticket holders the opportunity to weigh in on what our speakers talk about when they purchase their ticket. They will actively help us shape the program around the questions, challenges, ideas, and conversations that actually matter to the people in the room.
FORMAT
We are only accepting high-energy speakers that are able to speak on a wide variety of subjects. Their sessions will be short, concise, and full of the information you actually want to hear. No breakout sessions. You get to hear from every speaker and learn from their expertise.

How else is this conference different?
1
No Sponsors
We’re not building the agenda around sponsor packages, promotional obligations, or who paid to get their name on the biggest sign. The Conference gets to stay focused on the people who bought tickets to be there, not companies who bought their way in.
2
No Bag of Crap
You know the one! Instead of sending you home with a bag full of things you didn’t ask for, we’re putting our resources into the actual experience. Like paying our speakers.
3
Speakers Get Paid
We believe expertise has value. The people selected to speak at The Conference will be compensated for the time, knowledge, and experience they bring to the room. Ensuring our attendees have an impactful half-day means that we pay with more than "exposure."
4
Vendors...Maybe?
We’re not adding a vendor hall just because conferences are supposed to have one. When you join the waitlist, tell us whether vendors would make The Conference better for you. If our attendees want them, we’ll explore it. If you’d rather spend that time connecting, learning, and enjoying the day, we’ll skip them.

What other things should I know?

$50/ticket
We know professional development can get expensive quickly, especially for small business owners who are paying out of their own pockets. We want Uncon to be something people can actually say yes to, so we’re keeping the price accessible while still investing in great speakers and a great experience. You shouldn’t need a corporate expense account to get in the room.
No Meals or "Stuff" to Keep Costs Low
We’ll have light snacks and refreshments available throughout The Conference, but we’re skipping the full meal. Providing meals for a room full of people adds up quickly, and we’d rather keep your ticket inexpensive. We also won't have notebooks, pens, flyers, bags, or other stuff you don't need "one more of."

Donations to Local Charities
Our organizers are not hosting this to make a living. They created the conference to enhance their community. After expenses have been paid and speakers have been taken care of, we donate a huge portion to a local charity (or local charities), which you help select when you purchase your ticket.
You’re the Reason We’re Doing This
We want you to leave our conference with ideas you can actually use, people you genuinely want to know, and conversations you’re still thinking about the next day. There will be opportunities to learn and opportunities to connect. It will be a high-energy half-day featuring impactful speakers with legitimate takeaways.
