We Dreamed of Creating Something Different
So we did it.
Hi! We are Bitsy & Venus, and we are just regular people.
As you can tell by our branding photos, we are not super models or commercial actors. We are just some regular ol' professional(ish) women who said, "Uhm, I wish this was different," so many times that we finally got ourselves together and created it.
We both wanted networking that focused more on genuine connections (instead of strict referral numbers) with an incredibly transparent backing organization that provided proactive support for its groups.
And, we really wanted an impactful women's conference that felt completely different from anything else around here.
So, we started Uncon.
We're not competition.
There are great networking groups, chambers, conferences, and professional organizations in our community. Keep going to them! We do.
Uncon is just another option. Another room to walk into. Another group of people to know. Another way to learn, to connect, and to get involved in your community.
We believe in transparency.
Transparency is incredibly important to us. If you’re giving Uncon your money, time, and trust, we think you should know exactly how we're doing things.
That’s why we’ll tell you where your membership dollars go, how Networks receive financial support, why Conference tickets cost $50, and why we make the decisions we make.
We invest in our people.
We believe the people who help build Uncon should benefit from its success. That's why we invest in our Networks, compensate our speakers, and give back to the nonprofits in our communities.
When Uncon grows, we want that growth to mean something for everyone involved (rather than just swim in our Scrooge McDuck money pool.)
